Veneers and Laminates
Anderton Family Dental in Wenatchee offers this procedure for patients with teeth that are discolored, uneven, chipped, or worn down; and for patients that are simply looking to have the perfect smile. Veneers and laminates are thin, natural-looking, porcelain teeth shells, used to restore or replace blemished teeth. It is a long-term solution that is quick and dependable.
Procedure
Veneers and laminates procedure can provide customers the perfect smile in just a few appointments. On your initial consultation, your dentist at Anderton Family Dental will determine whether or not veneers and laminates are right for you. If it is appropriate for you, impressions of your teeth will be made in order to create a veneer that would match the structure of your teeth. While waiting for your permanent veneer, your dentist will take a portion of the enamel off your teeth and set a temporary veneer using removable glue. After about a week or two, when your permanent veneer is ready, your dentist will replace the temporary veneer with your final veneer. The dentist will make the necessary adjustments before permanently bonding the veneer to your teeth. The results are instant and patients can show of their smile instantly.
Post-procedure
Most patients experience slight swelling and sore teeth for a few days after the temporary veneers are placed, as well as after the permanent veneers are placed. Using pain medication, hot and cold compress, and getting a good amount of rest would reduce the pain and will help you feel more comfortable. Our patients in Wenatchee are also advised to be watchful of what they eat for about a week after the procedure.
