Partial and Full Dentures

Partial and Full Dentures

Anderton Family Dental in Wenatchee offers partial and full dentures for patients suffering from tooth/teeth loss. Dentures are detachable artificial teeth, used to restore the patient’s smile and ability to eat normally. It is a faster and cheaper solution for patients who are not ready to undergo permanent dental implant procedures.

Partial Denture

Partial dentures replace only one or a few extracted teeth as opposed to having an entire set. Plastic or metal materials can be used as bases and it uses clasps to attach to the remaining teeth, anchoring the denture. It prevents teeth from further shifting and can help restore aesthetics to areas with extracted teeth.

Full Denture

A full denture is used for patients who have lost all their natural teeth. It is a full arch of artificial teeth that can be removable or placed permanently. Anderton Family Dental offer patients innovative full dentures that are more firm and comfortable compared to traditional dentures. The two types of full dentures are:

  • Immediate – this type of denture is made in advanced is placed in right after the teeth has been extracted. These are commonly used as temporary dentures while the patient’s conventional dentures are being prepared.
  • Conventional – this type of denture is made after the gum tissue is completely healed, around two to three months after the teeth extraction.

Cost

The cost of partial or full denture could range anywhere from a couple hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars. The price varies depending on the materials used and the patient’s dental condition. Your dental insurance plan may also cover a part of your denture expenses.

The virus is likely to cause only mild symptoms in most of us, but it is crucial that we all do our part in preventing its spread.

    CLEANING AT “Anderton Family Dental“:

We have obtained a list of disinfectants the PA has approved that can kill COVID-19 and we will be using those to clean rooms in between patients. We will be thorough in cleaning the rooms between each patient using these disinfectants to reduce the risk of exposure. Also, following strict sterilization practices and disposable items for your safety and health. We use room filtration/infrared cleaners for air purification. Practitioners and staff will be checking themselves for fever or symptoms and will take time away from the clinic as warranted.

    VISITING “Anderton Family Dental“:

Please wear a mask when not in the dental chair. Please wash your hands upon arrival. We will have hand sanitizer at the entry or you can use the athroom sink to wash with warm water and soap for at least 20 seconds.

LIFESTYLE AND SUPPLEMENTS TIPS TO BOOST IMMUNITY

Maintain healthy lifestyle habits. Sleep deprivation, stress, excess alcohol or caffeine all decrease immune function. Set yourself up for success with good self-care. Nourish your body with healthy whole foods and drink plenty of fluids.

Consider stocking up on healthful pantry items such as frozen veggies and berries, frozen meats, poultry and fish, bone broth, soup, nuts, seeds, canned beans, grains, and teas in case you need to spend an extended time at home.

Thanks in advance for your understanding and patience as we navigate implementing best practices during this time. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns. Be well and enjoy your day!

    RESPECTFULLY, Dr Anderton and Team
